A Simple Recipe for the Perfect Pecan Pie

1 refrigerated pie crust

1 1/2 cups pecan halves

3 large eggs

1 cup light corn syrup

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 tsp salt

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the refrigerated pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges.

Spread the pecan halves evenly over the bottom of the pie crust.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.

Pour the mixture over the pecans in the pie crust.

Place the pie dish on a baking sheet to catch any potential spills, then bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set. You can cover the edges of the crust with foil if they start to brown too quickly.

Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool completely before serving.
